Lotto Results The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Monday 2nd June were 13, 17, 21 & 24. The jackpot of €2700 was not won this week & the €50 Lucky Dip winners were: 1. Ian Clarke, Leitrim DD 2. Senior League The Senior League continued last Saturday against Scotstown. Final Score Scotstown 3-10 Magheracloone 1-13 The next league outing is in Scotshouse on Saturday 21st June where we take on Currin at 7:00pm. All support would be very welcome.

Magheracloone Notes

Lotto Results. The numbers drawn in the Club Lotto on Monday, 12th May were 5, 9, 24 and 28. The jackpot was not won this week and the Lucky Dip winners were Shane , Laura and Gavin McDaniel, Leo Marron, 8, Magheross, ( Direct Debit), Jimmy Lee and Frankie Kieran, Feahoe, ( Direct Debit). The next draw will take place in the clubrooms on Monday 19th May and the Jackpot will be 2,600 euro. Senior Competitions. The senior team had its first outing in the senior championship for 2014 with a preliminary round clash versus Currin. The first half in Clontibret proved to be a close affair but the Magheracloone team really clicked into gear in the second half and emerged comprehensive winners on a score of 2-19 to 1-7. Magheracloone will now face Latton in the first round proper. This game will not be played for a number of weeks as the senior county team will begin the Ulster campaign soon. However, the league campaign continued on this Wednesday with an away game in Castleblayney. The Reserves are in action twice over the coming week with a game in Corduff versus Scotstown on Sunday at 12.30 followed by a visit to Latton on Wednesday 28th for a match which begins at 8.00.p.m. Under-16. The Under 16s had a fine victory last week over St. Patrick’s in a high scoring encounter and will hope to continue this fine run when the team visit Scotstown on Thursday evening. This game is timed to start at 7.30. p.m. Under-14. The Under-14 team travelled to Inniskeen and in another high scoring game Magheracloone came out on top with the final score reading 2-17 to 3-21. . Under-12. The Under-12 league finals will take place in Cloghan this week-end. This feast of football will feature the cream of Monaghan’s under 12 teams and Magheracloone will feature in a final encounter against Aughnamullen in the early afternoon. The game begins at 1.00 p.m. and the young people from the club would really appreciate all support possible. They are the future of the club and they have worked hard to reach this milestone. Come along and support this team in their quest for silverware on behalf of the club.
