EXTRA-TIME DRAMA AS DRUMHOWAN CLAIM THE JUNIOR CROWN!

Drumhowan are the 2026 Universal Graphics Junior Football Champions after a thrilling extra-time battle with Aghabog in Scotstown.

Aghabog made a blistering start, taking a half-time lead of 2-04 to 0-06. However, Drumhowan roared back into contention after the break, with Caolan Reilly finding the net as the momentum swung.

With both sides locked at 1-14 to 3-08 after 60 minuttes, extra time was required to separate the teams. Tom Doherty’s crucial two-pointer helped Drumhowan gain the upper hand before Darragh McAdam’s goal proved decisive.

Despite Aghabog’s battling efforts, Drumhowan held firm to seal a memorable 2-20 to 3-13 victory, completing the Junior double in spectular fashion.

Congratulations to Drumhowan on a deserved championship triumph and commiserations to a gallant Aghabog side who pushed them all the way.
