Latton and Clontibret will contest the “A” final with Castleblayney and Carrickmacross set to meet in the “B” final
The A.M Sports U14 Hurling Championship semi-finals took place Monday evening last.
In the “A” semi-finals Latton had 6 points to spare over Inniskeen in what was a repeat of Augusts Division 1 league final whilst in the other game Clontibret and Truagh contested a novel “A” semi-final pairing. Clontibret emerged victors on a 3-11 to 3-06 scoreline to qualify for their first U-14 A final in a number of years.
In the “B” Championship semi-final, Carrickmacross had too much for hosts Monaghan Harps as they ran out winners 5-07 to 2-04 to set up a final meeting with Castleblayney.
Both finals are to be played weekend of September 21st
