At the Ulster GAA U16 Hurling Camp this week, we had Seven representatives chosen to attend from this years County Minor Hurling Team.
Over 90 players were selected to attend from the Province and were put through the paces over two days in Garvahey.Well done Darragh, Hugh, Donncha, Aaron, Jack, Ciarán and Dáire, it is a great experience to be up hurling alongside Ulster’s finest 👏
A panel of 40 will now be assembled and will go forward to play Dublin next month. Monaghan GAA sends best wishes to our representatives in the selection process
“Its always a great experience for our lads attending these camps each year… training and playing games alongside the Antrim and Down lads in particular who we wouldn’t be meeting in our Ulster league, and experiencing first-hand that higher level of Hurling we are trying to get them to. It’s a rich reward also for the boys for the work they had put in with our own squad over the last six months and I would be really hopeful we will have Monaghan representation on the panel when they travel to play Dublin next month” said Minor Manager Patrick Hannon
