The A.M Sports Monaghan Senior Hurling League begins this evening, Wednesday June 4th.
This year the league again welcomes in East Cavan Gaels and Cootehill of Cavan alongside Knockbridge of Louth extending the league out to Ten teams over Nine rounds with the semifinals pencilled in for August 6th.
With the Senior Hurling Championship brought back to “Knockout” this year, the added incentive of topping the league table guarantees a place in the SHC semifinals with the remaining Six Monaghan teams confined to an open Quarterfinal Championship draw.
