Only official team sheets are permitted.

Please ensure that there is no jersey colour conflict prior to arriving at the venue. If in doubt bring along both home and away kits. Where a jersey clash occurs, it is up to both clubs to play in their away kits, provided they do not also clash.

Only 5 mentors and juveniles are allowed the field of play, please advise all personnel on same.

Spring League Football Finals Day  – On the day · · · · ·
Please arrive at the venue at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the match. Please arrive to the venue togged out.   Dressing rooms will be shared for storing kit bags etc…  Please do not enter the main playing field until the previous match has ended.
Rules:
  • Official Referee: An official referee will administer the game.
  • TEAMSHEETS Two official team sheets will be required prior to the start of the game
  • Focus: The emphasis of the Spring League is solely on participation and skills.
  • Substitutions: Unlimited substitutions are allowed.
  • Timing: Games to be 25 mins per half with every child playing 20 mins minimum .
  • Set Pieces: Frees can be taken from the ground or out of the hands. The player who is fouled must take the free.
  • Ball Size: A Size 4 ball or Smart Touch ball should be used.
  • NO SCORE COUNT: Please note that scores  will have NO bearing on Finals Day.
  • Monitor: Each game will have an independent monitor at same.
  • The team with the most Skills Scores within that game will win team skill award.  
Please let players and mentors know that the playing pitch will need to be cleared immediately the presentation.
We wish to emphasise again that the goal of this league is skill development and enjoyment, rather than competition. The ethos of the league is to create a fun, supportive environment where every young Gael can grow and enhance their skills. Your cooperation is essential in making this event a success.
