Club Guardian Programme: Thank you to the families who have signed up so far for our Guardian programme. We will have a permanent display of all who have signed up when our new Gym is completed! We hope that where possible everybody will get behind the club on this next phase of development to continue the growth and success our club has seen in recent years. Club Spot App: We have very exciting news for all our members!!!! We have a new CLUB APP available free to download NOW with all Tyholland GFC News, Membership, Bazaar, Clubgear and other tickets that will be available from time to time. This app will also be used next season instead of WhatsApp groups for all your training details and upcoming matches. Walking Track: Our walking track is open to all club members and we encourage you getting together on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm to step it out and have a catch up with friends.
Annual Bazaar: Thank you to everyone who supported our Bazaar this year & bought tickets. Thanks also to all our amazing sponsors – without you out prizes would not have been what they were! A special word of thanks to our Bazaar committee & MC Adrian Sheridan for all of their hard work in putting together a great show!
Bag Pack: Thank you to everyone who volunteered for our bag pack which took place in Fleming’s Supervalu, Monaghan last Saturday. Your help was greatly appreciated in raising much needed funds for our Club.
Christmas Charity Match: Don’t forget to keep December 27th free for our annual Christmas Charity Match. As usual it will be a day not to be missed! More details to follow later!
National Draw Tickets: We will soon be selling our yearly National Draw Tickets. This is a Croke Park Initiative with all ticket sales going directly to our club. Tickets are €10 each so please support.
Christmas Celebrations: Our two fabulous local primary schools are busy preparing for their respective events in the run up to Christmas. First up Scoil Bhríde are holding a Carol Service tonight (Thursday 14th December) at 7:30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Tyholland. This is followed by Scoil Phádraig’s Craft Fair on Sunday 17th December from 11am – 2pmin Tyholland Community Centre. All are welcome. There’s also massive excitement gathering around the parish as Santa Claus is paying a visit to the Community Centre on Sunday afternoon from 4pm! Lots of Christmas festivities for us all to enjoy!
Tyholland ICA: The ICA ladies are back with their monthly meetings the first Thursday of each month in the centre. If you are interested in joining up or curious as to what is involved please call Caroline on 087 7949238.
Forty Fives: The 45 card players are back in the club the first Thursday of each month. If you are interested in joining in just come along to the Club Bar on Thursday evenings!
Community Centre: The community centre and bar are available for hire for parties, christening’s, sporting and charity events. Contact the Facebook page to book your event or call 086 8222426 to check availability.
St. Cillians: Due to Church Renovations St. Cillian’s Church will not be holding their annual Christmas Carol Service this year but will still be having their Christmas Eve celebrations.
