All those in attendance were in a celebratory mood, fresh from the Ulster final win the previous Sunday with thoughts of & plans for the upcoming Quarter Final in Ruislip high on people’s minds. Chairman, Paddy McArdle complimented the active sub-committees, the various coaches & teams on their efforts & successes, following a very comprehensive Secretary’s Report delivered by Sheila Forde & the Treasurer’s Report read by Benny Bolger. Children’s Officer, Marisa Duffy was singled out for special mention for her role in chronicling the club’s history which she continues to undertake in a voluntary capacity for the forthcoming year. After the Election of Officers, there was a swapping of a few roles and at this juncture, outgoing Secretary, Sheila Forde, was commended for all her work in her role as secretary, her commitment to the club and matches and her general all-round knowledge of and passion for the game of hurling.
