Lotto: Last weeks lotto Jackpot of €4,000 was not won! The numbers drawn were 10,17,23,27!

Seniors: Despite a result that Tyholland did not want on Saturday we remain uplifted and proud of the journey our Senior Mens team have brought us on this year! To regain intermediate status after only one year is a massive achievement and this what the main focus was at the start of the year. Now we focus on turning tables on Blackhill this Friday night when we travel to Emyvale to take home the league cup! Once again good luck to the team and management, Your Club are behind you…Always!!! Lets do this!!!!

 

Minors Champions 2023: Massive Congratulations to Adrian, Paddy and Dwyane and the Minor team on a spectacular win over Drumhowan on Sunday in the Minor Championship final!! A great mix of talent from our 4 men eligible for Seniors next year; Callum Sheridan, Darragh Treanor, Colin Sheridan and Connor Brennan all the way down to our U15 Cup winners too! Many thanks to all the supporters who came along and kept the momentum going! Plenty of pics on socials thanks to Sinead Hughes!

 

U9’s: Wow what an honour… our U9 stars entertained us with at the half time mark of our County Junior Football Championship on Saturday – Well done to you all and to the coahes for helping out! You can see pics on socials.

 

Ladies

 

Senior: Our Senior ladies make the trip to Mullagh on Sunday for their first outing in their Junior Ulster Championship campaign. We hope to see continued support for this hard working group of ladies. Throw in is on Sunday v Cuchlainn’s in Cavan. Best of luck to Peadar, Kathy, Eimear, Grainne and the team.

 

Minor: Hard luck to our Minor ladies who bowed out of the Championship at the weekend after their defeat by Carrick. A massive achievement to reach the DIVISION ONE semis so be proud of yourselves and we look forward to watching you next year again.

 

U16: We still have one team awaiting their chance to bring home another Championship Cup and that is our u16 ladies who continue training for their Championship final! Details tbc….

 

Club Guardian Programme: Thank you to the families who have signed up so far for our Guardian programme. We will have a permanent display of all who have signed up when our new Gym is completed! We hope that where possible everybody will get behind the club on this next phase of development to continue the growth and success our club has seen in recent years. Club Shop: Ive had a few enquiries from people who missed out on the Club Shop. So it is being reopened on 1ST November for 2 days only with guaranteed Christmas Delivery again. So please do not miss your last opportunity to buy and keep an eye on social media for details!

 

Upcoming Events: A few dates for your diaries folks… Tyholland GFC AGM – Sunday 26th November, Juvenile Presentation night Friday 1st December, Online Bazaar Sunday 10th December.

 

Tyholland ICA: The ICA ladies are back with their monthly meetings the first Thursday of each month in the centre. If you are interested in joining up or curious as to what is involved please call Caroline on 087 7949238.

 

Tyholland Bowling Club: Tyholland Bowling Club are starting back up from next Tuesday. New members are very welcome to come along and try it out. It is in the complex hall from 8pm every Tuesday. You can contact Patricia on 047 85098 for more information.

 

Forty Fives: The 45 card players are back in the club the first Thursday of each month. If you are interested in joining in just come along to the Club Bar on Thursday evenings!

 

Community Centre: The community centre and bar are available for hire for parties,

christening’s, sporting and charity events. Contact the Facebook page to book your event or call 086 8222426 to check availability
