LADIES JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP: What a weekend of football for our Teams…. We are so delighted for our Ladies team and management after defeating Monaghan Harps in the Junior Final bringing home the CUP after a 21 year wait! Thank you to everyone for coming along to support our ladies last Sunday, you can catch up on lots of pics of the final on our Facebook page. The ladies now turn their attention back to the league and you can come along and see them back on the grass this Sunday in Killanny at 11am.

 

Lotto: Last weeks lotto Jackpot of €3,800 was not won! The numbers drawn were 2,7,20,28 and we had 4 match 3 winners this week; Ann Conlon, Paula Sherry, Ellie Farrelly and Paul and Maggie Hughes!! Universal Graphics Junior Championship: Congratulations to our Senior mens team who secured a big win against Éire Óg in Emyvale leading them to the Junior CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL on 21st. We will be taking on Blackhill in both the Championship and League final meaning that Aiden and management and Dermot and the team have brought us back to Intermediate level for next year, as a club we couldn’t are delighted with this news…. Now lets get some silverware to go with that!! We are calling on all the support of our club now to get your flags and bunting up and paint the parish in Red and White!!

 

Minors: Our Minor men took on Oram in the Championship on Tuesday night (10th) in Cloghan results and details on socials!

 

U15 Division 2 Championship Winners: YESSSSSS!! They done it! A thrilling game of football was played against a good Harps team last Saturday resulting in our boys lifting the cup… Every single player on the pitch gave their all and contributed to this nail biting match. The spectators were amazed at the level of talent on this team. Well done to team and management. You will find pics and details on our social media pages.

 

U11s: Our U11 team enjoyed a challenge match last Saturday morning and look forward to the BC Tournament in Emyvale this Saturday morning!

 

Ladies

 

Minor: Our Minor ladies take on O’Neill Shamrocks on Saturday at home at 5pm in the Championship Quarter final. Venue tbc. Good luck to all involved.

 

U16: Our u16 ladies continue training for their Championship final! Details tbc….

 

U14: Hard luck to our U14s who faced a very physical Truagh side at home on Saturday morning. The girls gave their all with some brilliant scores but unfortunately they have bowed out of their Championship competition now. Keep up the training until next year!

 

Congratiulations: Comhgairdeas to Captain Dermot Coyle who deservedly was named the Mace Player of the Match in the mens Championship semi-final on Saturday and also to Aoibhin McCormack who received the same accolade after playing a fantastic game in the Ladies Championship final!

 

Club Gear: Our online Christmas shop for Tyholland Tops, Bottoms, Bags, Hats etc is now up and running! You can find the links on our social media pages, just remember the shop is only open for 2 weeks so get your orders in before Santa snaps up all the gear for all the good boys and girls in Tyholland!

 

Club Guardian Programme: Thank you to the families who have signed up so far for our Guardian programme. We will have a permanent display of all who have signed up when our new Gym is completed! We hope that where possible everybody will get behind the club on this next phase of development to continue the growth and success our club has seen in recent years. Big Breakfast morning: We are delighted to be hosting a big breakfast morning on Sunday next 15th in the community centre. The new kitchen will also be completed at this stage so it which will be a great addition to our community! Following our massive wins last weekend and our Senior mens team reaching the Championship and League finals we are going to have an epic morning with Tyholland flags for sale and a Championship fan wall to show your support so get your Tyholland colours on and pop down for a delicious breakfast and a bit of banter!!

Tyholland ICA: The ICA ladies are back with their monthly meetings the first Thursday of each month in the centre. If you are interested in joining up or curious as to what is involved please call Caroline on 087 7949238.

 

Tyholland Bowling Club: Tyholland Bowling Club are starting back up from next Tuesday. New members are very welcome to come along and try it out. It is in the complex hall from 8pm every Tuesday. You can contact Patricia on 047 85098 for more information.

 

Forty Fives: The 45 card players are back in the club the first Thursday of each month. If you are interested in joining in just come along to the Club Bar on Thursday evenings!

 

Community Centre: The community centre and bar are available for hire for parties,
