Lotto: The lotto was held on Sunday night last. There was no winner. The numbers drawn were 12,15,21 & 27. This week’s jackpot rises to €5,100. You can purchase tickets either by buying envelopes from one of our young sellers or by logging on to our smart Lotto page.

A Day at the Races: Aughnamullen is running a day at the races Saturday 18th November to Fairy House. €20 Deposit to secure your seat which is non refundable

Seniors: Our Senior team take on Scotstown in the Quarter Final of the Senior Football Championship this Sunday the 1st of October at 4pm in Clontibret in what will be the club’s first Senior Championship Quarter Final since 1994. Come out and bring the colour to Clontibret and show your support to the lads in this historic occasion. Best of luck to the team and management.

Aughnamullen OsKaRs: With just over one week to go until the big night, tickets are selling fast for the Aughnamullen OsKaRs which will take place in the Glencarn Hotel, Castleblayney on Saturday the 7th of Octoher! Limited tickets remain, and with only just over two weeks until the big night, they will soon be gone! Tickets are €25 each, be there for a night not to be missed!

Official Opening: The Official Opening of our Astro Pitch, Car Park and flood lights will take place this Friday the 29th of September at 3pm. Minister Heather Humphreys will be present to officially mark the opening. Everyone welcome to mark the fantastic developments in the club over recent years. Refreshments served.




Under 17s: Our Under 17s await the result of the final round of group games for details on a potential semi final. Check social media for updates.


Under 15s: Our Division 1 team qualified for the Championship Final following a win over Killanny in the Semi Final on Friday night in Aughnamullen. They play Truagh in the final in Monaghan Harps on Sunday the 8th of October at 12pm. Come along and show your support to the boys on the day. Best of luck to the team and management.


Sympathy: Sincere sympathy to Aaron McGee and the McGee family on the passing of Philomena Mc Gee, Barndonagh, Carrickmacross. May her gentle soul rest in peace.


Sympathy is also extended to Martina Markey, Sragh and the extended Markey, Sheridan and Grimes families on the passing of Martina’s uncle, Andy Grimes, Loughmourne.


Wedding Bells: Congratulations to Derbhlá McEnaney and Thomas Barry Coleman who got married at the weekend. We wish you both many years of happiness together.


Speedy recovery: We would like to wish Bronagh Sheridan and Sean McMahon a speedy recovery, who both sustained injuries recently.


Ladies: Congratulations to our u16s who have qualified for the Division 1 final having beat Castleblayney (error in last weeks notes).

Commiserations to our U16Bs who were beaten by Harps in the championship semifinal.

Congratulations to our u14s who have booked their place in the division 1 championship semi-final after defeating Sean’s on Saturday.

U14Bs were beaten by a strong Latton side on Sunday.
