Universal Graphics Junior Championship: Well done to our Senior men who had a super start to their Championship after defeating Rockcorry on home ground last Saturday. It takes all hands on deck to manage these championship matches so we thank everyone who helped out on the day inc those at the gate, shop, stewarding, our MC Kathy Ronaghan, Adrian for providing the sound equipment and Erica Sheridan who sang the National Anthem beautifully. We wish the men and management good luck for Sunday when they travel to Scotstown on Sunday for Round 2. We want lots of support for their 2pm throw in!

 

Minors: Our Minors met Latton in the Shield semi-final on Tuesday with results on socials!

 

U15s: Our U15 boys entertain Latton tonight (Thursday) with a 7pm throw in. Good luck to the lads and come along to show your support!!

 

U13’s: Our U13 lads welcome Clones for a home game on Saturday at 12 noon and the U12 group have Aughnamullen at home on Sunday morning at 11am!

 

Go Games: This week our U9s travel to Killanny!

 

U7’s/U5’s: Training continues for this group every Thursday 6:30pm – 7:30pm. This session caters for boys & girls from 4-9 years of age. Please contact Alan Farrelly 086 3850435 if you have a child who may be interested in attending.

All Ireland: Congratulations to Grainne McKenna who graced the national grounds with Limerick in Croke park last weekend in the All Ireland Ladies Junior Final. The result did not go their way but we are delighted to have one of our own involved in the Ladies all Ireland finals!!

 

Club Guardian Programme: Thank you to the families who have signed up so far for our Guardian programme. We will have a permanent display of all who have signed up when our new Gym is completed! We hope that where possible everybody will get behind the club on this next phase of development to continue the growth and success our club has seen in recent years. Tyholland Senior Gym: Our Gym is strictly for Senior registered players only. There have been a few incidents of non- members and U18s using the Gym and this is NOT permitted.

Mackles Summer Camp: Our Mackles Summer 2023 camp has come to an end. Thankfully, the weather held up for us, and what a brilliant few days it was. Every child had a ball, and the coaches commented on how well-mannered all the kids were, how talented they are, and that they were so keen to listen, learn, and improve. More importantly, they entered and left with smiles on their faces, looking forward to the next day. We couldn’t have been happier with how it went. Thanks to Jimmy and Frankie for all their help setting up and keeping the grounds in tip top condition! We have a great club, and this week really showcased that.
