Senior Football Championship

Truagh Ladies

 

U12 Div 1: Our Under 12 Division 1 team are through to the League final following their victory over Magheracloone on Saturday in St Mellans. They will face Emyvale on Sunday at 2pm. We wish the girls and management the very best of luck and encourage everyone to support our young players.

 

U12 Div 3: The U12 Division 3 semi-final has been fixed for Friday evening at 7pm where the girls will have home advantage over Scotstown. All support is appreciated.

 

 

 

Senior Championship: Our Senior ladies suffered a heavy defeat in the Intermediate Championship on Saturday evening against St Brigids in Doohamlet. We send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Julie who sustained a nasty injury during the game. Our next fixture is home to Castleblayney on Sunday at 2pm.

 

Championship Launch: Many thanks to our Senior Captain, Sara Mc Kenna who represented Truagh Ladies at the launch of the Intermediate championship on Wednesday evening.

 

Information Session: Our female players and parents welcomed Caoileann Conway to St Mellans last Wednesday evening for an information evening focusing on female athlete’s nutrition. We extend our thanks to Caoileann for this valuable insight into the impact of nutrition on females participating in sport.
