Thanks Niall for giving your time, the boys and coaches really appreciated it, and thanks also to Peter Treanor who helped out again this week.

Monaghan GAA Activity Day Croke Park a great day was had by all at Monaghan GAA U12 Activity Day in Croke Park last Thursday 17th Aug. 90 boys & girls got the opportunity to represent their clubs at HQ. Great experience & memories for all involved. Thanks to the parents/coaches who assisted on the day. Monaghan Abù

Blayney Representatives were Michael Murphy, Shay Mallie, Bobby O Brien, Mikey Smith, Luke McCahey, Liam Duffy. Hopefully not the last time gracing that pitch!

Membership is now overdue and this is a reminder to all players that they must be registered prior to playing or training in order to be covered for the Player Injury fund. Link for membership is https://member.clubforce.com/memberships_cart_m.asp?LL_ID=2271

Referees we are actively encouraging people who have played the game to consider taking up the referee mantle. Without referees our games cannot go ahead, it is a way of giving back to the game and indeed in staying involved with the GAA family. If you would consider taking up the challenge, contact any committee member who will ensure that you are trained and supported all the way. Give it a go!

Regional Development Hurling Officer, Oisín McManus is vacating his role at the end of August to pursue further education. The club would like to acknowledge Oisín’s contribution to our club & local feeder schools, in terms of coaching, workshops, advice and all-round general availability to us all. Oisín is a huge loss to Monaghan Hurling and we would like to thank him for his commitment and dedication to his role, we wish him well in his future endeavours. Best of luck Oisín!

Clothing Collection the club are organising a clothing collection for Saturday 7th October. More details to follow closer to the time but keep this in mind when you are doing your summer clearout!
