Upcoming Games:

U15 League Cup Semi Final: Emyvale v Cremartin in Tully on Thursday at 7:30pm.

U17 Div. 1 League Rd.7: Scotstown v Emyvale in Scotstown on Thursday 3rd August at 7:30pm.

Intermediate League: Our Senior team traveled to Cremartin last Tuesday evening to play the home side in the league Quarter Final. In what proved to be a very entertaining and at times feisty contest that went to the wire in extra time before a winner was decided. Unfortunately for Emyvale we just couldn’t keep our noses in front long enough to snatch the victory. However, it was a very brave effort by all the lads in what was a hard physical game that will stand to them come championship time. Final score, Cremartin 1:22-3:12 Emyvale. There are some positives to take from this game such as some welcome minutes for a couple of lads returning from injury. We have a bye in the first Championship Round and that leaves around 3 weeks until our Rd. 2 Championship game on the weekend of 20th August at home to Toome.

Reserves: Our Reserve team played Carrickmacross at home last Tuesday evening, with the possibility of earning a league semi-final spot. And the team did not

disappoint, keeping their side of the bargain with a strong display winning on a scoreline of Emyvale 4:14-0:8 Carrickmacross.

Unfortunately, this good win did not qualify the team for a semifinal, even though they finished 3rd in the table, level on points and with better points difference than Drumhowan, who qualified for the semifinal due to winning the head-to-head between the two teams. However, this was a successful season for our Reserve team and management, taking home some silverware and lots of gametime for lads.

U17’s: Training is every Tuesday and Thursday from 8pm to 9pm in Tully. They had a hard-fought draw V Monaghan Harps last weekend gave the lads a point on the day, but it was just one of those days for the lads but still great to get the point from the game. Next game is not till August the 3rd away V Scotstown

U15’s: training is every Monday and Wednesday from 6:50pm to 8pm in Tully. This Thursday is Div 3 Cup semifinal day v Cremartin. Throw in is at 7:30pm in Tully. Good luck guys

U13’s: Training resumes Monday and Thursday nights from 7 to 8pm. The guys played Tyholland in the First Div 2 championship group game last week.
