Rockcorry Club Notes

Junior League Our Senior team are in action this Friday evening, 30th of June when they are away to Blackhill in the league. Throw in at 8pm

Reserve League

Our reserve team put in a hardworking display and put together some fine passages of play in their league game against Truagh last Tuesday evening. However, two goals conceded within a five-minute period in the first half left them chasing the game and Truagh eventually ran out 3-7 to 1-8 winners. The Lads play their last league game on Tuesday 27th June when they welcomed Blackhill to Pairc Mhuire for an 8pm throw in.

Under 17 Div 3 League

Due to the Monaghan Minors reaching the All-Ireland Final on the 9th of July all U17 games have been postponed until after that date.

Under 15 Div 2 League

Our Under 15s put in a gutsy performance in a high scoring game against Aghabog last Thursday evening when they were narrowly beaten by our hosts, Full Time score Aghabog 7-15 Rockcorry 6-16. The lads are back out this Thursday, 29th of June when they welcome St Tiarnachs Patricks to Pairc Mhuire. Throw in at 7:30pm

Under 13 League

Congratulations to our U13 team who defeated Blackhill on Sunday afternoon in their shield semi-final by 5-9 to 3-6. They will now play Doohamlet in the final with date and venue to be announced.

Under 11

Our Under 11s have their league final this Sunday, 2nd of July at 12pm. Opponents and Venue yet to be announced. Please check our social media pages for updates.

Under 7 Blitz

Our Under 7s take part in a blitz this Saturday, 1st of July where Aughnamullen will be our hosts. Tyholland and Eire Og will also take part in this week blitz.

County Teams – Congratulations to both the Monaghan Senior and Minor teams on their championship wins in what was a great day for the county last Saturday in Tullamore. Best of luck to the seniors this weekend in their quarter final against Armagh.
