Club Lotto

We had no winner of this week’s Lotto. The numbers drawn were 10,14,26,31. This week’s lucky dip winners were Bernadette & PJ Duffy, Sharon Maggs, Killian Rudden, Thomas & Annie Finegan. Next week’s jackpot will be €2300.

Annual Golf Classic

Our annual golf classic takes place Friday 21st July.

Our seniors played out an exciting draw on Friday night against Aughnamullen. Final score Magheracloone (1-16) v Aughnamullen (1-16). Both teams had chances to win and in the end a draw seemed a fair result.

The Preliminary Quarter-Final- Kildare v Monaghan has been confirmed for Saturday 24th June.  Double header with the Minor Football Semi -Final.

1.    MFC – Monaghan v Kerry – 2.30pm

2.    SFC – Kildare v Monaghan – 4.45pm

The fixture will go on sale via retail and online at 10 am Tuesday 20th. It will be live via https://am.ticketmaster.com/gaa/

This game will be General Admission, Preliminary Quarter-Final prices are €25 adults, €20 Stu/OAP and €5 juveniles.

 

Ladies News

First Gaelic for mother’s and others training session will take place Wednesday evening 8pm at Mac fab pitch. Registration and insurance pre training. If you are looking for a bit of craic then go for it. Please contact Linzi for further details.

 

Millys Family Funday Fundraiser

Milly along with her parents Gavin & Charlene and her siblings Dylan, Megan & Molly, would like to invite you all to Millys Family Fun Day Fundraiser “Millys Mini Marathon” by completing a 5km on the walking track to cover the distance Milly traveled to Newcastle of 478km.

The day will be fun packed for all ages with a BBQ, raffle, face painting and much more. Sunday July 9th. Registration will be @12pm is on the day and costs €10

 

Ulster GAA

Ulster GAA is delighted to announce plans for its 2023 Young Leaders Programme, with applications NOW OPEN until 10am Thursday 22nd June for young GAA members aged 16-24 years old from clubs across Ulster. Ulster GAA Young Leaders Programme has become a prestigious award for young people providing them with essential coaching and safeguarding awards while exploring key issues relating to sport.

The U9’s next blitz is Saturday June 24th in Clontibret. Teams in this blitz are Carrickmacross, Maghercloone, Clontibret and Donaghmoyne.

 

U7’s/ Academy

The U7’s took part in the Monster blitz at Cloghan on Saturday where U7 teams from all over the county played throughout the day.  Magheracloone played Corduff and Latton in their time slot and each player gave a great account of themselves. The players enjoyed the day out at Cloghan and hopefully it will be the first of many times these young players experience playing in Cloghan.

Pitch Walking Track Open Hours

The walking track at the new pitch will be open every Wednesday 7-8 and Saturday/Sunday from 10am to 9pm.
