Seniors: Donaghmoyne lost by the narrowest of margins away to Inniskeen on Friday evening in an entertaining encounter which hung in the balance right up to the final whistle.

Inniskeen opened the scoring with two early points before Stephen Finnegan pulled one back for Donaghmoyne. Inniskeen edged ahead on a number of occasions but Donaghmoyne kept responding with points from Declan Courtney, James McCaughey and three converted frees from Ronan McDonald while Niall Keenan had two from play to leave things level at the interval 0-8 to 0-8. Another McDonald free moved Donaghmoyne into the lead at the start of the second half but the hosts were soon back on level terms and from there on it was nip and tuck with Inniskeen again going ahead only to be pegged back by another Niall Keenan point, with 15 minutes to go Donaghmoyne were trailing by 3 points but hit back with a goal which was slotted in by Ronan McDonald when a Stephen Finnegan shot was blocked and broke to McDonald in the box. Inniskeen went one ahead again but another McDonald free left the sides level with 5 minutes remaining. The Grattans moved one clear in the dying minutes and unfortunately the Fontenoys were unable to fashion a score with their last attack, final score 0-15 to 1-11.
