Monaghan U15 Hurlers – Hibernia Cup
Monaghan U15 Hurlers got their Hibernia Cup off to the perfect start on Sat 22/04 in Cloghan as they proved too strong for neighbours Louth. Goals from Evan Butler, Aaron Hughes, Aodhan Lawless and Hugh McMahon had the contest wrapped up at halftime… Monaghan made 14 changes to the team in the second half as Cillian Payne and Tomas McCabe worked tirelessly in midfield to withstand any Louth comeback.
Well done to the team and particularly the 13 lads who represented their County for the first time.
The squads next fixture in the Hibernia Cup is away to Fermanagh on May 20th.
