Truagh Ladies

 

Congratulations & Best Wishes

Our wonderful Under 10 team were presented with medals and footballs on Sunday afternoon by Mia O’Reilly, Gary Mohan and Ronan Boyle after their participation in the Go Games Blitz in Croke Park on Thursday 13th April. Thanks to Mia for signing the balls and jerseys for the girls, thankfully it wasn’t her writing hand in the sling! We wish her a speedy recovery after her recent surgery. Thank you also to their coaches: Keith Sheerin, Kevin Treanor and Jenny Keenan, Monaghan LGFA and all who made the Go Games Blitz experience possible for all these girls.

Congratulations to Ella McMeel and Lauren Markey and the Monaghan Minor Ladies on their superb win over Tyrone in the Ulster Ladies Minor Platinum final last Saturday.

Best of luck to Eabha McMeel and the U14 Monaghan Ladies team the Ladies Gaelic All Ireland Semi-final where they meet Carlow on Saturday 27th May in Abbotstown, Co. Dublin with Throw in at 1:30. Truagh Ladies wish them the very best of luck.

U14’s

Our league is back in action this week, and our division 2 team were away to Aghabog on Monday the 22nd. Our division 3 team met Eire Og on Tuesday 23rd in Smithborough at 8pm. Results of both games will follow next week.

 

U12’s

Our Division 4 team welcomed Carrickmacross Emmets to St. Mellans on Friday last 19th. The girls put in a trojan effort and had a comprehensive win on the night. Well done to both teams.

 

Our Division 1 game against Clones was postponed due to First communion was played on Wednesday 24th. Results will follow next week.
