Seniors Reserve League

Hard luck to our Senior Reserves who lost to Corduff on Sunday morning last. A strong performance from all.

 

U16’s League

Well done to our U16’s on a fantastic win over Inniskeen on Monday night. After traveling to Inniskeen the girls put in a superb performance to come out on top with a final score of Truagh 5:09, Inniskeen 0:07.

 

U14’s

Our U14 girl’s had two great games last week resulting in two comprehensive wins. Our Division 2 team were at home on Monday the 8th to Inniskeen and had a strong win. Our Division 3 team met Magheracloone on Tuesday 9th in St Mellans and again were winners on the night with results very much in our favour.

On Monday 22nd May our D2 team are away to Aghabog Emmetts, throw in at 7pm. Our D3 team are travelling to Eire Og on Tuesday 23rd May, throw in 7pm. Training continues every Monday and Thursday at 8pm, Saturday training time TBC.

 

 

 

U12’s

 

Our U12 girl’s played two super games last week with results split. Our Division 4 team were away to Magheracloone on Friday 12th and lost by the narrowest of margins. Final Score Magheracloone 0.06 Truagh 1:02.

Whilst our Division 1 team welcomed Monaghan Harps to St. Mellans on Monday 15th with results going our way and the girls coming away with a victory on the night. Final Score Truagh 1:13, Monaghan Harps 1:03.

 

Congratulations & Best Wishes

Congratulations to Eabha McMeel and the U14 Monaghan Ladies team on their fantastic win in the Ladies Gaelic All Ireland Quarter Finals in Templeport on Saturday last. They now progress to the Semi final where they meet Carlow on Saturday 27th May. Venue TBC. Truagh Ladies wish them the very best of luck.

Well done and commiserations to Molly Flood and Georgia Breslin who represented Truagh Ladies on the U16 Monaghan Ladies panels this year and who were defeated by Cavan in the Ulster Ladies U16 Platinum A Final 2023 on Saturday last.

Finally, we wish Ella McMeel and Lauren Markey and the Monaghan Minor Ladies the very best of luck this Saturday 20th May 2023 as they take on Neighbour’s Tyrone in the Ulster Ladies Gaelic Platinum Final in Crossmaglen GAA Grounds at 2pm.
