Wishing all our teams, players and management the very best of luck in the upcoming games.

Intermediate: Next fixture is mouthwatering home fixture which sees us host Castleblayney Faughs in Tully on Sunday at 2pm. This promises to be an exciting game and well worth coming along to support our young attacking team. All support greatly accepted to cheer our lads on this Sunday.

Reserves: Our Reserve team had a dominant display over Cremartin in the Crawley Cup Quarter Final last Saturday. The semifinal is scheduled for Friday 23rd June in Tully with Carrickmacross the opposition. On Wednesday evening the team travelled to Carrickmacross to play Rd.5 of the reserve league with no result at press time. Next league fixture is Saturday 3rd away to Eire Og at 7pm.

U18’s: Our U18 team played Scotstown last Tuesday evening in the Div.1 League semifinal in Tully. A brave display saw the lads go down by a point, a disappointment for all involved, but it was a good U18 div.1 league overall for the team which will stand to both the upcoming U17 team and those going on to play at Reserve and Intermediate level.

U17’s: Training is every Tuesday and Thursday from 8pm to 9pm in Tully.

U15’s: training is every Monday and Wednesday from 6:50pm to 8pm in Tully. The guys were unlucky last week v St Kevins, they have a break from games due to exams starting soon.

U13’s: Training resumes Monday and Thursday nights from 7 to 8pm. The game v Killanny in Tully this Saturday has been rescheduled for June 2nd at 7:230pm in Tully. Next league fixture is Seans v Emyvale on Tuesday evening at 7:30pm in Threemilehouse.

Good luck guys. They have also been invited to the prestigious Cooley Tournament on June 10th, this is a fantastic festival of Gaelic Football, and everyone is looking forward to it.

U11’s: Training is every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 8pm in Tully. The management will text when the next game is on.

U9’s: Training will be every Wednesday and Friday from 7 to 8pm in Tully. The kids had a great day out in Greenlough, Derry last Saturday. We had 2 teams on the day. There were some tough games, but the kids did the club proud. Thanks to all the coaches and parents on the day for traveling and helping out

U7’s: Training will be every Friday evening from 6 to 7pm in Tully. They had a Go Games blitz last Saturday and a great day by all.

Inter County news: WOW – it was not easy, but another super win last weekend against Tyrone for our County Minor Team to make it to the Ulster final in the most dramatic of circumstances, winning on penalties. A super achievement for

all involved … one of the goals was a kick back in time for anyone from Emyvale, an early long ball from Murphy to Finn, leading to a super goal that was started in Oriel Park and finished in Roslea!! Next up for Mathew, Andrew, Johnnie and Monaghan U17’s is the Ulster Final v Derry at 6pm in Armagh this Sunday. It is also worth mentioning the input of Conor Forde as team mentor and particularly a goal keeping coach to the team, especially as it was a saved penalty that helped win the tie. Again, we wish the lads and the Monaghan panel and management all the best this Sunday evening. It was also a great weekend for our girls Minor County team who controlled proceedings in their Ulster Minor Championship Final win over Tyrone on Saturday. A great day for club girls Dervla Cawley and Sophie Power, well done on a fantastic achievement girls.

On Saturday evening Karl Gallagher and Ryan Mc Anespie travel to Derry in the rd.1 in gp.4 of the All-Ireland series where we wish all involved the best of luck in a tough test.

Good luck also to the Monaghan Minor Hurlers in their Celtic Challenge Minor Hurling Final this Saturday v Wicklow Blues at 1pm in Abbottstown.

Congratulations: A massive well done and congratulations to Andrew Stewart last week who was awarded Sportsperson of the year at the St Macartan’s annual awards ceremony, a fantastic achievement to win this award especially for someone in TY. Also, it was great to see other lads from the club who were recognised and got awards for excelling in a wide variety of areas in school life. Well done to all.
