Upcoming Games:

U15 League: Emyvale v St.Kevin’s on Thursday evening at 7:30 in Tully.

Ulster Minor Championship Playoff Semi Final: Monaghan v Tyrone on Saturday at 1pm in Roslea.

Crawley Cup Quarter Final: Emyvale v Cremartin on Saturday at 7pm in Tully

U18 Div 1 League Semifinal: Emyvale v Clones on Tuesday 23rd May at 7:30pm venue tbc.

 

Intermediate League: Our Senior team drew away to Cremartin last Saturday, in a game that could have gone either way. However, this was still a positive result which gained a valuable point. Next fixture is at home to Castleblaney on Sunday 28th.

 

Reserves: Our Reserve team are in the Crawley Cup Quarter Final on Saturday evening at 7pm in Tully. Good luck to the team and management.

 

U18’s played Clontibret on Tuesday evening in Tully, unfortunately the game did not go our way. However, we have a semifinal to look forward to on Tuesday

evening at 7:30pm venue TBC at time of print. Let’s show the team and management our support. Good luck to all involved.

 

U17’s: Training is every Tuesday and Thursday from 8pm to 9pm in Tully.

U15’s: training is every Monday and Wednesday from 6:50pm to 8pm in Tully. The guys dug deep last week and came up deserving winners over Cremartin. On Thursday they are at home v St Kevins, throw in is at 7:30pm with no result at time of print. But good luck guys

U13’s: Training starting Monday and Thursday nights from 7 to 8pm. The lads had a slow start last Saturday at home V Oram but a super second half performance by all concerned got them the win in the end, that they deserved. Well done lads. We wish Daniel Bogue a speedy recovery as he picked up a knock recently. They also been asked up to the Cooley Tournament on June 10th, everyone is looking forward to it.

U11’s: training is every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 8pm in Tully. Management will text when next game is on

U9’s: training will be every Wednesday and Friday from 7 to 8pm in Tully. They had a great day last Saturday at the go games in Currin. It was an enjoyable day by all.

U7’s: Training will be every Friday evening from 6 to 7pm in Tully. plenty of go games coming up for this age group

 

U17 County news: It was another super win last weekend against Armagh at the quarter final round with a score line of 2:15 to 2:05. Matthew and Andrew both got on the score sheet with all 3 lads playing in the game and put in a huge effort. Next up for Mathew, Andrew and Johnnie and Monaghan U17’s is the semifinal game v Tyrone this Saturday at 1pm in Roslea. Again, we wish the 3 lads and the Monaghan panel all the best this Saturday.

 

Hand Ball: Congratulations to Dylan McKenna who won the Men’s C grade today in the 2023 Antrim Wallball Slam. Dylan defeated Chris Duddy (Derry) in the Men’s C Final on a final scoreline of 21-14! Well done, Dylan!

 

Well done: Well done to Darragh Clerkin and Tom Ronaghan and panel of the Colaiste Oiriall U13 1/2 Boys GAA team who overcame St Aidan’s College of Derrylinn last week to win the McKee Shield final. Great achievement

 

 

CUL camps: Emyvale GAA Club is delighted to announce that this year once again, we will host the Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camps. The 2023 camp will take place from 10th – 14th July 2023 . Game Entrance fees for home Intermediate league matches will now be €10 per adult and €5 per adult for Reserve games. This is in line with most clubs’ and is broadly accepted as the normal entrance fee throughout the county.

 

Monaghan GAA Gaeltacht Scholarships applications are now available with a deadline of Friday 26th May at 5pm. If you or a family member are interested, please contact our cultural officer, club secretary or any committee member for an application form and return it before the deadline.
