Seniors: The seniors maintained their unbeaten start to the season with a 2-10 to 1-13 draw away to Magheracloone on Sunday. The hosts were fired up for this local derby and raced into a 1-2 to 0-1 lead before a Matthew Marron penalty and a Davy Garland free levelled matters. Magheracloone moved into a four point lead before a Garland free reduced the deficit to 3 points at the break. The start of the second half saw Davy Garland capitalise on a mix up in the Maghercaloone defence to rifle home an equalizing goal. The Mitchells moved one ahead but Donaghmoyne hit back with a point from Matthew Marron and two from Garland to move two clear. Midway through the second half Donaghmoyne were reduced to 14 men but still managed to move into a 4 point lead with scores from Fergal Keenan and Davy Garland. Unfortunately for the Fontenoys they were unable to hold onto their lead with Magheracloone scoring four in a row the last one coming deep into injury time to leave the sides level. The next senior game is another local derby with Corduff in Pairc Fontenoy on Saturday evening at 7.00pm. Please support the team.

Reserves: There was disappointment for the Div 3 reserves on Friday evening in Latton as they bowed out of the championship on a 3-10 to 2-10 scoreline. We wish a speedy recovery to Johnny McCrosson who was injured during the game. The Division 1 Reserves are away to Magheracloone on Wednesday evening at 7.45. Please support.
