Corduff Gaels:

Busy week for Corduff Gaels Senior team.

On Monday evening they registered a very significant win over Scotstown in Corduff in front of a huge local and travelling crowd. From the throw-in Corduff were dominant keeping Scotstown to a single point for the 1st quarter, 1-4 to 0-1 . A Scotstown goal in the 15th minute reduced the margin to 3 points. From here to the half time whistle both sides traded scores going in 1-06 to 1-05 at the interval. A lively opening to the 2nd half saw the sides go level in the 7th minute 1-08 each. Another Corduff goal stretched the lead but with only a goal between the sides going into the home stretch it made for a nervous finish. It was however the Corduff nerve that held and they were deserving winners on a final scoreline of 2-12 to 1-12. Massive congratulation to the team and management.

This Saturday the Senior team is away to Donaghmoyne at 7pm.Best wishes to team and management. Please come along on Saturday evening to show your support.
