Early points from Aaron Courtney and Hugh Murnaghan moved Donaghmoyne into a two point lead before Matthew Marron opened up his account with a brace of points, Latton responded with two points before Matthew Marron converted a free and a penalty to open up a 1-5 to 3 point lead. Two more points from Aaron Courtney either side of halftime extended the lead to six before Marron hit 3 more to move the home side into a commanding position. Latton scored 0-3 in the final 10 minutes to narrow the gap to 6 but could not fashion a goal chance against a determined Donaghmoyne defence. Final score 1-11 to 0-8.
