Our Blues Competitive Games in the past week

Under 13s

Round 2 of the Spring League was played in terrible weather conditions on Saturday last with high winds and heavy rain persistent throughout the fixture, leaving ball handling and underfoot conditions very challenging. Our Scotstown B team played Magheracloone and credit to both teams in providing a very competitive game. Scotstown were very wasteful in front of goals in a dominant first half with Shane McKenna scoring the Scotstown goal. Magheracloone came into the game in a more evenly balanced 2nd half. Scotstown led from start to finish with a final score of 1-9 to 1-3. Our Scotstown A team also faced Magheracloone and they were very dominant throughout the first half scoring 2 – 10 to 1 – 1. Scotstown had a great second half scoring 1 -3 and keeping Magheracloone to only 1 point, but unfortunately lost 2-11 to 2-4. Well done to our Scotstown C Team who beat Donaghmoyne away 5-7 to 3-11 and hard luck to our Scotstown D team who lost at home to Magheracloone 1-8 to 0-6.
