Senior Team

We suffered our second defeat of the Ulster league campaign away to Moy, Co.Tyrone last Sunday. Three goals in quick succession shortly after half-time ultimately being our undoing – final score 3-11 to 1-14. Next up we are at home to Glenn John Martins from Co.Down.

 

Dinner Dance

Next Saturday night, 4th March, is our big night as we celebrate our successes of 2022 with our Dinner Dance in The Shirley Arms. Music on the night by The Brendan McCahey Band. Tickets are €60 each and selling fast. Doors open at 7pm.…dinner served at 8pm. Contact any committee member to purchase your tickets.

Club Memberships

Club membership fees are now due and this year non-playing Adults will be €50. Juvenile membership will be €50 for first child, €90 for 2 same family children & €125 for 3 or more same family children.

 

Monaghan Senior Team

It was another hard-fought win for Monaghan, this time against Roscommon in Clones last Sunday edging the westerners out by 3 points on a scoreline of 0-14 to 0-11. Next up is a trip to Salthill in Galway next Sunday 5th March. Keep it going lads !

 

Underage Coaches Needed!!

We Still Need You!! Calling all parents of underage players – we need some new coaches to facilitate all our younger teams for the year ahead, from U-7’s upwards. This is a great opportunity to get on the coaching ladder and training courses will be available form official Monaghan GAA platforms. Any & all help is appreciated. Juvenile competitions for this year 2023 will U-11, U-13, U-15 & U-17 along with an early U-18 competition. For 2024 competitions will revert to U-12, U-14, U-16 & U-18.
