Social Centre: Due to kitchen renovations taking place there will be no A La Carte Menu on a Sunday for the month of February. For the month of February the Social Centre is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Macra Quiz: 3 Parishes Macra presents a Quiz Night this Saturday night the 11th of February in the Social Centre. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd as well as well as a raffle and spot prizes on the night. Come along for a guaranteed great night’s craic and entertainment!

 

Aughnamullen Lights Up: Aughnamullen Lights Up continues every Tuesday and Thursday (7-9pm) – the last evening will be Tuesday the 28th of February. A sign in sheet will be available each evening. We have set up a community on the Irish Life ‘MyLife’ app under the name ‘Aughnamullen GFC’, where your steps will be counted and recorded for a chance to win prizes. Download the ‘MyLife’ app, Select Social, Select Challenges, Select Ulster GAA – Every Steps Counts 2023, Select Aughnamullen GFC and get those steps in!

 

Annual Dinner Dance: The 2023 Dinner Dance will take place on Thursday the 16th of March in the Social Centre. Our Hall of Fame recipients on the night will be Ciaran Lonergan, Gerry Swinburne and Eamon Kerr. Our Guests of Honour on the night will be the successful Under 19 team from 2022. Come along for what will be guaranteed to be a great night’s entertainment.

 

Juvenile Presentation: Our annual juvenile presentation will take place on Saturday the 11th of March in the Social Centre. This is a great occasion to mark what was a hugely successful year for our underage teams.

 

Speedy Recovery: On behalf of the club we would like to wish Tommy McCabe, Laragh, a speedy recovery. Hopefully he will be out and about in the near future.

 

Juvenile Management: We want to wish the very best of luck to our juvenile teams and their management for the year ahead, Under 13: Marty Burke & team, Under 15: Gerard McGeough & team, Under 17: Philip Lambe & team. Poker Classic: The results of our recent Poker Classic was as follows;

10th Vincent O’Callaghan, 9th Des Connolly, 8th John Murray, 7th Roger Hanratty, 6th Declan Duffy, 5th Stephen Fealy, 4th Mickey Keenan, 3rd Conor Hoey, 2nd Sean Marron, 1st Paddy McGuinness. Paddy McGuinness won the title, Paddy and Sean Marron split the winnings. Thanks to all who played on the night and well done to all winners.

 

Summer Camp 2023: Our Annual Summer Camp will take place from Tuesday the 8th of August to Friday the 11th. Another fun filled week is promised. More details to follow.
