Since the beginning of term 2, Monaghan Coaching & Games have continued to organise super touch blitzes for Secondary Schools within the county.

On Wednesday 9th November 1st & 2nd year boys participated in Super Touch Hurling blitz. Patrician High School, St Macartans College & Castleblayney College all took part in this initiative. Each School entered multiple teams which enable all to have a great mornings Hurling. See below a selection photos;

Today, was the turn of the 2nd year girls with St Louis Carrick, St Louis Monaghan, Our Ladys Secondary School Castleblayney, Castleblayney College, Beech Hill, Colaiste Oirall all attending. Over 150 girls made up of 18 teams got the opportunity to play football in Monaghan COE.

Huge thanks to all the Schools for their continued support and promoting Gaelic games in their Schools. Also thank you all teachers, TY students for refereeing & managing teams over both blitzes.
