2022 All Ireland Colleges Softball Handball Boys Junior Singles Finalist Callum Sherry (St Macartan's College) and Girls Senior Singles Semi-Finalist Fiona Flood of Coláiste Oiriall
Hard luck to Callum Sherry of St.Macartan’s College who was defeated by Caleb Donnellan (Colaiste Baile Clár, Galway) in the Boys Junior Singles All Ireland Colleges Softball Final on Saturday (5th Oct) following an excellent win earlier in the day in his semi-final over Conor Doyle (Wexford CBS).
Well done also to Fiona Flood (Coláiste Oiriall) in reaching the Girls Senior Singles Semi-Final. In the Semi-Final she met the hard hitting Jodie Keeling from Selskar College, Co.Wexford, Jodie’s experience was too much on the day, and Fiona lost 15-1, 15-0. A great achievement nonetheless for all of the players to reach the All Ireland stages of Colleges/Second level Handball – Well done all!
