A big weekend lies ahead for our U15 & U16 Football Development Squads as they compete in the semi finals of their National Competitions.

First up on Saturday, Our U15 Squad play host to Tyrone and Donegal in the Brian McLarnon Cup. The first game in the semi final of the cup section against Tyrone throws in at 10am with the second game against Donegal in the semi final of the Shield section throwing in at 12pm. Both of these games are taking place at the Entekra Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence in Cloghan. Monaghan have prepared for these games after coming through a group with Down, Cavan and Dublin.

Also on Saturday, our U16 Squad compete in the semi final of the Buncrana Cup against Donegal in St. Tiernach’s Park, Clones with throw in at 12pm. Monaghan come into the game after finishing top of their group ahead of Dublin, Armagh and Down.

We would like to wish players and management of both squads the very best of luck in their respective games and we would encourage as many people as possible to come out and support the boys in either Cloghan or Clones on Saturday.
