Monaghan Coaching & Games hosted two 3th and 4th class Primary Schools blitzes for boys and girls on Tuesday, 19th October and Thursday, 21st October at the Entekra Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence, Cloghan.

Schools who attended on the days were Mulaghrafferty, Doohamlet, Scoil Bhride Tyholland, Scoil Eanna Ballybay, Glaslough, Annalitten, Deravoy, Castleblayney Boys NS, Knockatallon, Scoil Mhuire Rockcorry, Inniskeen, Gransha, Gaelscoil Ultain, Blackstaff, Gaelscoil Eois, Latnamard, Oram, Annyalla, Garron, Threemilehouse, Corcaghan, Donaghmoyne, Latton, Scoil Rois and Clara.

In total, over 50 teams consisting of 300 boys and 200 girls took part across the two days with each team getting to play a minimum of 5 games throughout both mornings. Players got the opportunity to play in various different positions and there were plenty of skills on display from all teams. Most of all, the players who participated left the blitz with a smile on their face.

Monaghan Coaching & Games would to thank all the schools who took part and who made the blitz a huge success, the teachers and assistants who took their students to the blitz and the TY students from various Secondary Schools who came out to referee the games and to help the schools with mentoring/coaching their teams.
