Calling all individuals or families to sign up to walk/run/wheel 3km or 3Mile (or longer if they want), wearing some sort of bright colours to celebrate world DS day on March 21st and raise much needed Funds!

• 3 – 21 stands for 3 copies of the 21st chromosome, which is unique to people with Down Syndrome (the rest of us has 2 copies of this chromosome)
• The walk will therefore take place on 21st March, which is World Down Syndrome Day
• NEon is a play on “NE” (North East) and also, that you dress up in some sort of NEON/bright clothing, just to raise awareness etc. – It’s all just a bit of fun, while trying to raise a few quid for much needed services for young people with DS and their families in the NE region.
