Online GAA Foundation Course
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation offering face to face delivery of any course is not an option. In response to this demand, Ulster GAA will be offering an eLearning (Online) Dual Foundation course to anyone wishing to enrol.
There are a number of parts to the course and participants are required to:
- complete the 8 course modules in sequence and at their own leisure, by the closing date – FRIDAY 6th November 2020.
- Complete a Child Safeguarding course (Online) – (DATES FOR COMPLETION OF THIS WILL BE ISSUED IN DUE COURSE).
- Complete a Practical Assessment – (DATES FOR COMPLETION OF THIS WILL BE ISSUED IN DUE COURSE).

To access this course, you need to have an account registered on the GAA learning portal which can be accessed at this link
If you have an account already set up, log on to it and click on the link above and enter the Enrolment key – Ulster2020. Your unique profile will be transferred onto the course and you can begin the modules.
If not please register on the learning portal, and follow the steps to login. Click on the link above and this will bring you to the course enrolment page and enter the Enrolment Key (above).

You need to complete all modules in order, the child safeguarding course and practical assessment to complete the course and get certification.
Child Safeguarding course: You must have completed GAA Safeguarding 1, Child Protection in Sport Awareness Course. If your certificate is up to date (completed within the last 3-5 years) you may renew this by completing the GAA Online Refresher https://learning.gaa.ie/safeguarding. If you have not completed this course or your certificate is out of date, you must register to complete the Online Safeguarding 1 Course by contacting Bernie Fox via firstname.lastname@example.org
