The Monaghan GAA Perpetual Golf Classic sponsored by McAree Engineering tees of this year at Rossmore Golf Club on the 24th and 25th July.

This fantastic event is running for the 7th year in a row. Monaghan GAA Chairperson, Michael Owen McMahon advised “while a lot of things this year have been delayed, our committee and McAree Engineering have been working away in the background to ensure this years Golf Classic would go ahead. “

“This is going to be one of the very few fundraising events for Monaghan GAA this year and as a result we are hoping that it will continue to receive the fantastic support it has in the past. While the regulations around Covid-19 mean that some things have to change, the one thing that we can be sure of that won’t change is that the Golf Classic will be great craic, fantastically organized and great day out for Golfers and Gaels alike. As usual there will be a fantastic array of prizes for those teams that manage to come out on top.”

It’s an exciting time for the Team and we are looking forward to the Championship clash with Cavan at the end of October. “In addition, we are conscious that there has been little sporting activity for juveniles so far this year and are delighted to team up with Rossmore Park Juveniles to hold a fun competition in the week running up to the main event.”
