The Allianz Football League Division One resumes this weekend when Monaghan welcome Kerry to Páirc Grattan, Inniskeen on Sunday.

Monaghan’s last home game in the NFL Division One saw them claim a convincing win over Mayo in Clones. Goals in either half by Conor McCarthy and Kieran Duffy were key as Monaghan pushed on after a slow start to claim the spoils, racking up 1-11 after the restart. McCarthy marked a stand-out performance with 1-3 from play and a handful of assists as Monaghan beat Mayo on home soil for the first time since 2011.

Monaghan lost to Donegal last time out in Ballyshannon. Monaghan fell short of the form they showed in previous weeks, including their fourth-round win over Mayo, as goals in either half by Caolán Ward and Hugh McFadden helped Donegal extend their unbeaten record at Fr. Tierney Park that stretches back to 2009.
