James Corrigan, Fintan Grimes, Dermot Coyle and Adrian called forward the U-13s, who contested several finals in 2019 and managed to retain the Coyle Cup. The U-13 Player of the Year awards went to Jack Lynch and Diarmuid McGinnity (Most Improved). Mel McMorrow, Brian Lenehan and Nicholas Scott presented the U-15 awards to Player of the Year Gary Devlin and Most Improved Player Gregory O’Connell, before the U-17 Most Improved Player award was presented to James Curley by Jimmy Croarkin, Chris Conway and Colm Shalvey. The Kieran Morgan Memorial trophy for the overall Juvenile Player of the Year went to 2019 U-17 captain Dean Doherty. Martin Sheridan also presented a Volunteer of the Year award to Úna Forde, who has played a key part for the club in various roles across recent years, giving great service on our committee Saturday-morning coaching session. Thanks to some our young county minor and U-20 players – Brendan Óg Ó Dufaigh, Daragh Croarkin and Nathan Lavery – for helping with the presentations and also to the Morgan family. Well done to our juvenile committee and everyone involved in planning a well-run night.
