Latton v Monaghan Harps Reserve League Friday 5th July

Latton were off the mark with a goal from Shayne coyle in the 2nd minute .The visitors hit back with 3 points to level affairs in the 9th minute of the 1st half. Damien Duffy hit over in the 11th minute followed up by a Shayne Coyle point from play in the 14th minute. Two more points from play from Damien Duffy and Stephen McElroy seen latt 4 ahead by the 18th minute. Monaghan Harps hit over 3 consequtive points to leave the minimum between the sides. Aaron Mulligan hit over a free followed by 2 points from play from Shayne Coyle and Dillon Quinn.Harps once agin hit back with 3 points to leave a single point between the side at the interval as the score stood at Latton 1-07 – Monaghan Harps 0-09.

Latton were once again first off the mark in the 1st minute of the 2nd half followed up by an Enda mcPhillips point from play to leave a goal between the sides early in the 2nd half.Harps once again hit 2 points . Conor McCabe hit over in the 13th minute from play followed by a david Hughes point half way into the 2nd half. Monaghan Harps found the net in the 17th minute to leave the game All Square once again. Latton hit over 3 scores with James mc Elroy scoring from play and free kicks converted by Aaron Mulligan and Conor Mc Cabe. Monaghan Harps hit over a point in the 26 minute cancelled out by a free from Aaron Mulligan .A second free was converted by Conor McCabe to leave Latton 4 up by the 27th minute. A point from Monaghan Harps in the 29th minute was to be their final score of the game with Latton finishing with Scores from Stephen mcElroy and Aaron Mulligan from play . The Final Score was Latton 1-18 – Monaghan Harps 1-16 to leave Latton tabel toppers in Division 1A of Reserve League.Final League game is away v Emyvale on Wednesday 17th July at 8.00pm
