Monaghan Coaching & Games delivered our first Secondary Schools Blitz of the academic year last Friday at the ENTEKRA Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence.

The blitz was aimed at second year boys and was a success with 140 players getting to play matches on the day.The format of the day meant that each team got to play 3 matches. Schools who attended this blitz were St. Macartan’s College, Patrician High School, Our Lady’s Secondary School Castleblayney, Castleblayney College and Largy College.

Some of the football on show was of a very good standard, and it bodes well for the future.

Thank you to the schools for attending, and additional thanks to St. Macartans College for providing referees.

The next Secondary Schools blitz due to be delivered by Monaghan Coaching & Games is a Senior Girls 7 a side Blitz at the ENTEKRA Monaghan GAA Centre of Excellence this coming Friday, 14th September.
