Clones rarely looked troubled as they saw off Rockcorry in this JFC qualifier under Emyvale’s lights last Friday night. Clones briefly saw their six-point lead halved to three with just over 20 minutes left, but they outscored Rock by 2-5 to 0-4 thereafter; the goals coming from Adrian Alford and Cameron Dowd. Clones had eight scorers, with Darren Freeman, Eoin McQuaid, Alford and Dowd hitting a combined 2-12.
