Monaghan Coaching & Games in conjunction with Ulster GAA are organising an U13 Hurling Farney Academy Camp. This camp will run in a similar fashion to the one which took place last year. The camp is open to 10-13 year olds and will take place in Cloghan over 3 days.

Wednesday 8th August – 10am – 2pm
Thursday 9th August – 10am-2pm
Friday 10th August 10am – 2pm

If your son  would be interested in attending the camp please download the application form and send it to Aidan Morgan, Monaghan GAA ,Cloghan, Annyalla, Monaghan. In order to receive his top at the end of the camp, your child must be registered before the 1st August.

During the 3 day hurling camp, Players will receive a great programme of coaching which is aimed at developing all hurling skills. The programme includes Wall ball sessions, free-taking, goalkeeping, attacking & defensive play, flexibility, body-strength exercises and player welfare talks.

We recommend that players brings football boots, runners, shorts, socks, training top, bottle of water, packed lunch, Helmet and Hurley. If players have no helmet or hurley one will be provided.

The cost for the Farney hurling academy is 20 euros per player. Each player will be rewarded with a hurling grip and a top, which will be presented by a top-inter county hurler (anyone who registers on the morning of the camp may not receive their t-shirt until the Friday).
