Residual prizes: €100 Morrow family c/o Barry Sullivan; €40 Darragh & Fiadh White c/o Ashley White; €40 Patsy Kearns c/o Séamus Treanor; €40 Jimmy Mee c/o Barry Sullivan. Jackpot for Sunday, June 10 is €2,400 and Maria and Hugh McKenna are on duty. Lotto draw takes place in our clubhouse every Sunday night. All welcome. Thanks to everyone for their support for our Lotto, which plays a critical role in our club’s funding. We ask all club members to continue to promote our Lotto as much as possible.

Sympathy: The club sends sincere sympathy to the families of Kevin Conlon, Seamie Bell and Maeve Smyth, who all passed away last week. Kevin Conlon was our former senior team manager, mentor of several juvenile teams and Club President, as well as a popular local school teacher, who was held in high regard by many people. Kevin had a great love for the Harps and his sons Finbarr and Paul have close links with our club, with Finbarr currently serving as our Coaching Officer and a mentor with our U-13s. Finbarr’s sons Killian, Dean, Dáire and Caolán all play for underage teams. The news of Seamie Bell’s death came through on Saturday evening and the reaction underlined how well liked he was among various local sporting groups and further afield. Seamie served as physio of our senior footballers for a number of years and was very popular within our club. Our thoughts are with his young family and his wide circle of friends. Our thoughts are also with the Moran family after the death of Deirdre’s mother, Maeve Smyth. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.

Reserves: We lost out away to Castleblayney in a top-of-the-table clash in the Platinum Tanks RFL Division 1B last Friday. We conceded an early goal, but hit back through Éimhín Morahan and with Shane Coyle and Shane McMahon also on target, we were 1-5 to 1-4 up at half-time. That lead stretched to three after the restart, but Blayney hit back with a brace of goals. Éimhín hit another great goal to bring us back into it, with Conor McCrystal adding a couple of points, but Blayney got the last three points to win by 3-11 to 2-9.

Team and scorers: Dylan McAree; Niall Ward, Mustafa Gamal, Thomas Croarkin; Niall Treanor, John Mulligan, David Lowry; James McKenna, Dónal McCarthy; Éimhín Morahan (2-4, 0-2f), Seán Peyton, Shane McMahon (0-1); Conor McCrystal (0-3f), Shane Coyle (0-1), Francis Lynch.

Subs: Emmett McArdle for McKenna (inj.), Conor Duffy for McMahon.

We are away to Latton in the O’Duffy Cup championship semi-finals this Sunday at 3pm, before returning to RFL Division 1B action away to Cremartin on Wednesday at 8pm.
