Club Results

Our U12’s suffered a defeat away in Latton on Tuesday week last in the latest round of the league. While it was competitive for the most part , Latton pulled away to victory. The senior squad travelled to table toppers Currin on Wednesday last. Both teams unbeaten in the league gave for a terrific clash on the night. Some fine scores on the night by both teams made for an entertaining game. The Seans edged out victory in the end but it was nail biting stuff. The U16’s fell to an in form Rockcorry on Monday night.

Feile Peil na Nog 2017

The feile competition is now but a piece of history in our clubs archives. A hearty congratulations to our organising committee, especially Gabriel Bell. Their attention to detail in accommodating the travelling teams with host families and ensure the games all rang with clockwork precision. To the Mammies who done the cooking on Saturday morning to ensure the team was well nourished for their journey to Den and onto Armagh for the Monaghan game we are most grateful . However we cannot forget the players. Without these young men the competition would not take place. Well done to Peadar McGuiness , Paul Freeman and all the backroom people who’s enthusiasm knows no bounds when it comes to their team. To the players , we must compliment them on their behaviour and spirit. Although results may not have gone their way it did not dampen their passion to play football. I’m sure there will be great memories and friendships flourishing from feile 2017.
