Emyvale will be hosting Shamrock Gaels, Longford at the John  West Féile Peile na nÓg  and will be competing in Division 3

Shamrock Gaels was formed in 2015 when Ballymahon/Forgney Gaels and Southern Gaels came together to amalgamate for under age football. The Shamrock Gaels area comprises of Ballymahon, Forgney, Newtowncashel and Killashee.

The Shamrock Gaels got off to a flying start by winning the Minor A Championship, Minor League Division 1 and Special Minor League Division 1 all in 2016.
