Doohamlet GFC Notes

Seniors:  Doohamlet  0-12      Tyholland  3-11

A disappointing performance and a disappointing result for our Senior team in the Intermediate league at home on Friday evening last.  Short a number of regulars our team struggled for any rhythm throughout but the concession of three goals in the second half gave Doohamlet a mountain to climb.  Darren Connolly, Niall J. Connolly and Conor Marray were our chief scorers with  good performances from Kevin McArdle, Damian Ward and Ciaran McManus.  No game this weekend with our next outing on Wed 21st away to Blackhill.

Community Games:  This Saturday sees the U10 Community games Ulster Final take place in Monaghan.  Our club reps Vinnie, Finion, Padraig and Ben will line out with their teammates from Cremartin  & Clontibret representing our County, Monaghan in this much anticipated game. Good Luck boys. Congrats:  Monaghan Senior footballers continue their fine form with an excellent victory away to Cavan last weekend.  Congrats to Colin and the team as they now prepare to face Down in the Ulster Semi-final.  Well done also to Ciaran Markey who was a member of the U14 Monaghan development squad who took part in an U14 Blitz in Garvaghy last weekend.  Also congrats to Eoin Coleman who played at half time during the Monaghan v Cavan game, well done Eoin.
