Doohamlet GFC Notes

Reserves:  Our Reserve team travelled to Threemilehouse on Sunday last to play the locals in the quarter final of the Crawley Cup.  Short a number of starters Doohamlet put in a creditable performance before going down 0-08 to 0-05.  Ollie Hughes, Michael Marray and Ciaran Finnegan were our scorers but a number of our younger players played well and good to see veteran Shane J. Connolly don the blue jersey again.

Ulster Championship:  All roads lead to Clones this weekend when Monaghan face Fermanagh in the opening round of 2017 Ulster Championship.  Doohamlet GFC wish Malachy, his backroom staff and players all the very best and a special best wishes to our own Colin Walshe who leads the team out on Saturday evening.

Sympathy:  Doohamlet GFC would  like to extend our sincere sympathy and condolences to

Marie McBennett, Garradevlin and the Kilroy family Keady on the sad passing of her Brother Brendan last week.  At dheis de go raibh a anam.
