Under 12 Football Spring League.

Play their Spring League Final this coming Saturday. Keep an eye out on Facebook and the Monaghan GAA website for exact date and time. Best of luck lads.

U-14’s

Its 3 from 3 for these lads as they fought hard to secure a superb victory against Clontibret in Clontibret on Saturday last. This was a tough game but the lads edged it on a score line of 2-09 to 1-10 to maintain their 100% record. Next up for the U-14’s is the visit of Scotstown on the 06th of May.

U-16’s

Lost out in an entertaining game against Castleblaney on Thursday last on a scoreline of 4-10 to 2-07. The lads are still in a great position after 4 games and welcome Killany to Clones on Thursday evening with a throw in of 7.30pm. Best of luck lads.

Minors

Suffered their third loss in a row on Tuesday last against Emyvale. All the games the lads have played have been close affairs and there is a lot of talent in this bunch. Hopefully they can get their first scalp of the year as they played Latton on Tuesday night.

Referees Needed

The club is asking anyone who would have an interest in refereeing games this year to please contact club Chairman John Holland. Our games are not possible without referees and Monaghan GAA is currently very short on volunteers.

Reserve Championship

Had a great win over Aghabog in the Preliminary round of the Championship. This was a welcome victory after two defeats in the league. There was some excellent performances from our lads and hopefully they were able to build on this with the visit of Monaghan Harps to Clones on Wednesday night. Team: Conal Beggan, Darragh McDermott, Jake Rehill, James Gibson, Caoilain McDonald, Kevin Reilly, Matthew Newell

Declan McQuaid, Luke Rehill, Ciaran Kelly, Emmett McEntee, Paddy Roe, David McCabe, Niall Nolan, Eugene Holland. Subs: Dylan Hibbott, Dean O’Connor, David Jelistravos.

Seniors

The Seniors play Oram this Saturday the 29th of April in Oram at 7pm as they wish to build on their good start to the year. All support is welcomed.
