Lotto Results 10/04/2017

Numbers this week were 4, 7, 17 & 19. Jackpot was 7,300, Winner: None. Healthy Clubs Project (Free Offer!!)

As part of our Healthy Club initiative we are offering all club members the opportunity to have one circuit training class FREE. Check it out see if it’s for you. They are run by Dutchys Fitness in Clubrooms Monday and Thursday 7 & 8 o’clock.

Monaghan GAA Easter Camps

Under 6’s, 8’s and 10’s

Training continues for boys Under 6 & 8’s and Girls U 6, 8, 10’s and 12’s on Wednesday evenings at 6pm in the Peace Link. Boys U-10’s training continues on Saturday at 10am in the Peace Link. Registration can be paid on either of these days to Joanne Rehill.

Under 12 Football Spring League.

Play Doohamlet this Saturday the 15th of April at 2pm in Doohamlet. The lads have started really well with two wins so hopefully they can continue this on Saturday. Best of Luck lads.

U-14’s

Next up for the lads is a trip to Clontibret on the 22nd of April.

U-16’s

Had a great win over Patrick Emmets on Thursday last on a scoreline of 5-13 to 1-5. The lads will hope to continue their 100% start to the league when they play Sean McDermotts on Thursday evening in Clones at 7pm. Best of Luck.

Minors

Lost out to Castleblaney on Tuesday last on a scoreline of 2-14 to 1-10. These lads have a lot of excellent footballers and will hopefully get an improved result as they take on Monaghan Harps on Tuesday night. They will also take on Emyvale on Tuesday the 18th of April in Clones at 7pm. Best of luck lads.

Referees Needed

The club is asking anyone who would have an interest in refereeing games this year to please contact club Chairman John Holland. Our games are not possible without referees and Monaghan GAA is currently very short on volunteers.

Seniors

Got off to a great start against Aghabog on Saturday last eventually winning on a scoreline of 2-15 to 0-14 in St Tiernachs Park. Two first half goals from Colm Connolly and Adrian Alford saw Clones take control of the game and they never really looked back. Clones had some excellent performances throughout the team and hopefully they will be able to continue their winning ways when they face Killevan on Wednesday night. An action packed week in the Junior Football League rounds off with the visit of Drumhowan to Clones on Saturday evening at 7pm.
