TOP 4 LOTTO

After all the excitement of giving away our massive jackpot last week, the TOP 4 LOTTO returned to normal on Monday night with a €1000 jackpot. Numbers drawn were 05,10,13,21 but there was no winner. The lucky dip winners of €15 each were Mickey Morgan Monaghan, S. McGuigan Newbliss, Tessie & Pauric Reilly Dartry, Mary Reilly Dartrey P.O., Connolly Family Aghabog, Tina & Tracey Rooney Rockcorry, Seamus Tate Rockcorry, Paddy Lynch Cootehill.

On the field

Well done to our U14’s who recoreded a win over Ballybay on Saturday past, it is the turn of the U12’s this weekend to host the Pearse Bros side with throw in at Pairc Mhuire at 2pm. The U16’s are in action this evening (Thursday) at 6:30pm as they welcome Patrick Emmets in their first outing of the Division 3 league.

National league

It is set up for a massive weekend of action in Clones on Sunday as the Dubs come to town to take on Monaghan. A win for the home side would guarantee a Divison 1 league final, the first since 1986. Best of luck to the team and management. The Monaghan ladies are also in Division 1 league action as they look to avoid relegation. Armagh will provide the opposition with a throw in time of 2pm but a venue has yet to be confirmed.

Stewards Training Course

A Stewards training course will be held at the Monaghan GAA training grounds in Cloghan on Friday the 31st of March and Saturday April 1st. The purpose of this course is to give proper training to stewards so that a safe and secure environment can be provided at all GAA venues both at an intercounty and club level. The Training will be provided and accredited by Portobello College Dublin. Anyone interested in become a steward can contact any member of the club committee.

Membership

Club membership is now due and can be paid to our club registrar Pat Brannigan or indeed by contacting any member of the committee.

The annual subscription for adults is €30 with all juveniles under the age of 18 €10 per child. Any student that can provide a valid student card the membership fee is €10
